This course seeks to expose individuals to a massive array of research material valuable to African American genealogical research, from which they engage in the process of building a toolbox of resources specific to their needs. The course format consists of short, targeted lectures packed with beneficial methodologies and strategies combined with instructor facilitated discussions and activities. A preponderance of the information and resources will be in the form of under-utilized and lesser known material.
